Rest In Peace, Neil. Godspeed on your journey to (yet) another place.
![]() Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the Moon, and true American hero has passed away. He was 82 years old. Although I was too young to remember Apollo 11 and Armstrong's first steps on a foreign world, I do remember many of the following moon landings which fueled my interest in anything space-related. The space program, starting with President Kennedy's famous speech with words of enthusiam for America to reach beyond and be mankind's embassador to another world, has captivated many individuals hearts and minds. Thousands of people worked (and some gave their lives), tirelessly and without hesitation to make Neil Armstrong's first step on the Moon a reality. Armstrong was a great role model and his mark on history is forever engrained in the minds and hearts of those who reach for their dreams whether they be here on the terrestrial confines of our world or beyond. Rest In Peace, Neil. Godspeed on your journey to (yet) another place.
